The Peninsula Masterclass is a series of specially curated, experiential learning workshops that delve into specific topics in the world of culinary arts. Learn practical tips and industry secrets from experts in various disciplines, from making art of cocktails, to delving into ancient Chinese teas, and exploring the worlds of wine and whiskey, among others.


Master of Chinese Tea
In this Master of Chinese Tea Masterclass, explore the art of tea-making and embark on an experiential tea journey with a certified Chinese tea master. Our resident Chinese tea master from Hei Fung Terrace will introduce the various types, cultivars, and origins of eight Chinese teas, as well as the process of brewing the teas and tasting and comparing each of their distinct flavor profiles and characteristics.

Master of Wine
In this Master of Wine Masterclass, participants will have the rare opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of wine through the eyes and palate of a certified sommelier. Receive hands-on knowledge about tasting techniques to help you appreciate wine, how to discern a variety of flavors and aromas, and how to understand the rules of wine pairings to elevate your dining experience.

Master of Cocktail

Join one of our award-winning bartenders from Peter: The Bar and hone your skills in the art of mixology in this Master of Cocktails Masterclass. Expand your beverage repertoire and learn practical tips for stocking a home bar, constructing a balanced cocktail, building unique flavors, developing a palate, and curating a drink menu to pair with certain foods and occasions. Watch a demonstration of how to make Peter’s original signature cocktails, before enjoying an exclusive dinner at Peter paired with a selection of cocktails.

  • Master of Wine, Master of Whiskey, and Master of Cocktail classes are available to participants over the age of 20; all other masterclasses are available to participants over the age of 12.
