The Peninsula in Pink campaign, champions the battle against breast cancer by raising awareness and funds for local charity partners that provide much-needed care for breast cancer patients.
This year, The Peninsula Beijing once again invites guests to appreciate "Peninsula in PINK" for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. On the evening of Friday, 22nd September, The Peninsula Beijing held the “A Night in PINK” event and almost 600 attendees, journalists, Ambassadors and VIPs participated the party.
Aside from The Peninsula Beijing, there are eight luxury brands (Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Zilli, Bottega Veneta, Liudu and Bvlgari) participated in the charity auction of A Night in PINK event. Their donation items included from jewellery to clothing and glittering accessories and collected for RMB 153,500 through the charity auction. All proceeds from The Peninsula in Pink campaign will be donated to the China Breast Cancer Foundation. Moreover, four celebrities and nine influencers also participated the "A Night in PINK" event and shared their opinions for showing care of the female health and improve the quality of life.
Throughout October, guests at The Peninsula Beijing can also enjoy specially designed pink-themed afternoon tea, cocktails, dessert and spa treatment beginning with A Night in PINK event.
