The Magsaysay Room, Old Manila’s private dining room, is named after the Philippines’ most beloved President, Ramon Magsaysay, whose oil portrait commands the room. The original on which this painting is based hangs in the reception hall of Malacañang Palace, the official residence of the President of the Philippines.
