This summer, The Peninsula Tokyo presents a refined Fig and Honey Afternoon Tea, celebrating the harmony between the gentle floral sweetness of honey and the rich, luscious character of seasonal figs in The Lobby. Thoughtfully crafted by our culinary team, the menu features seven sweets and six savory creations, each highlighting a delicate balance of vibrant summer flavors.

 

Savor elegant creations such as conger eel fritto paired with semi-dried fig compote and honey balsamic sauce, and duck ham with pain d’épices complemented by fig pinchos. A shrimp and honey mustard wrap, as well as a walnut and Yakushima honey tart, further showcase the versatility of this seasonal pairing.

 

Sweet selections include a Toyomitsuhime fig feuilleté with lemon diplomat cream, a refreshing Yakushima honey panna cotta with peach and raspberry compote, and a honey lemon tart. Guests will also enjoy a delicate cream puff with fig compote and orange custard cream, alongside freshly baked traditional and savory scones including fig and Parmigiano Reggiano.
