The Peninsula Tokyo

Motoring enthusiasts from around the world will converge on Japan in April 2025 for a thrilling drive through spectacular scenery, historical Japanese landmarks, and exclusive sites along the journey.

 

The six-day motoring experience across Japan’s main island of Honshu will commence in Tokyo. Participants will embark on a journey to the West, North and East of the region. Participants will discover unique facets of Japanese culture and be treated to the tastes, sights and sounds of Honshu including spectacular views of Mount Fuji, scenic coastlines, and mountain roads, before the culmination at the ultra-exclusive Magarigawa Club racing track.

 Day 2  April 18th Start from Tokyo – Enoshima – Hakone
Overnight Stay at Hotel in Hakone 
 Day 3  April 19th Hakone – Karuizawa in Nagano
Overnight Stay at Hotel in Karuizawa
 Day 4  April 20th Karuizawa – Nikko in Tochigi
Overnight Stay at Hotel in Nikko
 Day 5  April 21st Nikko – Magarigawa racing track in Chiba
Overnight Stay at Neighboring Hotels in Chiba
 Day 6  April 22nd Morning drive at Magarigawa racing track in Chiba
Participants to be transferred back to The Peninsula Tokyo

 

*Participants who plan to ship their car to/from Japan must be present in Tokyo by the afternoon of April 15th at the latest to pass their passport to the designated shipping company and receive their respective cars

 

 

 

ENTRY FEE

USD 32,500 per car

Fee includes: Five (5) nights’ accommodation for two guests sharing a room, and all meals and activities during the event. Additional nights at The Peninsula Tokyo are available starting from USD 950 per night per room.

 

Please note that the entry fee does not include insurance and car shipping to/from Japan.

 

 

Shipping: For those needing to have their cars transported to and from Japan:  CARS JAPAN, our designated car import partner, has been assigned to assist with the shipping and importation of participants’ vehicles, if desired. For information on lead time of shipment and fees, please contact CARS JAPAN.

 

Car Rental: If you would like to rent a classic or supercar for the event, we would be delighted to provide details on available options and rates for the duration of the event. Please contact us via email on jde@peninsula.com.

Car Storage:
Should you wish to store your vehicle after the event and extend your enjoyment of Japan, we can offer various storage options. For more information on rates and availability, please contact us via email on jde@peninsula.com 

 

Accommodation:
Accommodation during the event includes an overnight stay in each destination/stop with allocation of one room per participating car.
Additional nights at The Peninsula Tokyo, before or after the event, are available from USD 950 per night, per room. This rate includes daily breakfast and is subject to a 15% service charge, 10% consumption tax, and a JPY 200 Tokyo Accommodation Tax per person, per night. For travel plans and accommodations beyond The Peninsula Tokyo prior to or after the event, participants will need to make their own arrangements. JTB Global Lounge Ginza, our luxury partner travel agency, has been appointed to support participants with any necessary travel arrangements prior to or after the event. Additional Information:
Driver and Co-Driver must be over 20 years old with a valid Japanese driver’s license or a valid International Driver’s Permit (IDP).
For cars to be eligible to be driven in Japan without local registration, the owners must obtain CPD (Carnet de Passage en Douane) from an authority at their original country before shipment.
Please note that the rally route passes through mountainous roads with steep slopes.
Participation fee is calculated for up to two participants per car (the driver and co-driver).

The official entry application form and other supporting documents shall be sent to interested participants within August.

 

Please note that due to limited availability, entry applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis and will be reviewed accordingly.
