Since welcoming its first guests in 1933, The Verandah at The Peninsula Hong Kong has treated diners to sophisticated buffet dining. From 2 October to 30 November 2019, The Verandah invites guests and visitors to experience a gastronomic rendezvous to Italy with a refined buffet experience reminiscent of a Mediterranean getaway in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui.
A tantalising rotating menu will showcase an array of authentic Italian favourites. Classic highlights include Sliced veal loin with tuna sauce (Vitello Tonnato) – served at the table to ensure the freshness of the dish – known for pairing smooth balsamic, tuna and caper sauce with delicately sliced veal. Stuffed squid (Calamari Ripieni) with aromatic spices will also be served, alongside Veal escalopes with ham and cheese (Scaloppine alla Bolognese), which features specially-imported Parma ham, Parmesan cheese and juicy veal cutlets.
An exquisite dessert menu of Italian favourites will deliver a delightful finale, featuring a dreamy Tiramisu a la crème, meaning “pick me up” or “cheer me up” in Italian, and a Cherry and mascarpone crème delight, offering a velvety mascarpone mousse and soft Italian cream cheese bursting with refreshing fruitiness.
The Verandah’s Italian culinary odyssey will be served from 2 October to 30 November 2019 on a rotational basis. Buffet lunch is priced starting from HK $518* per adult and HK$ 418* per child; Weekend buffet lunch (Sundays and Public Holidays) is priced at HK$ 838* per adult and HK$ 638* per child; Buffet dinner is priced at HK$ 838* per adult and HK$ 638* per child.
