Miffy themed Afternoon Tea
Originally introduced through a series of storybooks, Miffy's iconic image has now inspired a delightful afternoon tea experience at The Peninsula Beijing. The Pen Bear invites his new friend Miffy and Miffy’s friends to join him in the hotel's elegant lobby, where a specially curated menu marks the beginning of their friendship journey.

Building on the foundation of the classic Peninsula Afternoon Tea, the hotel's pastry team has crafted a selection of sweet and savory treats inspired by Miffy and her friends. Highlights include the Mango Pineapple Coconut Almond Crisp, featuring Miffy's adorable likeness, with layers of tropical flavors that burst with freshness. The Coffee Caramel Bear, inspired by Miffy's friend Boris, combines rich coffee and sweet caramel for a smooth, indulgent treat. The Madagascar Vanilla Hazelnut Lollipop & Miffy Carrot Cake showcases the pastry team's artistry, with a lollipop-shaped dessert nestled in a chocolate "flowerpot" filled with carrot cake. The Valrhona Opalys Seasonal Citrus Cake offers a refreshing blend of citrus and creamy mousse, topped with a playful Miffy design.

In addition to the classic scones, the savory selection is equally impressive, featuring the Miffy's Favorite Tuna Sandwich, Black Truffle Edamame Tart, Chicken Mousse Tart, and the creatively shaped Smoked Salmon Snail Roll, offering a delightful exploration of flavors.

As Easter approaches, Peninsula Bear and Miffy will be waiting to welcome the little guests at The Peninsula. Through a series of joyful activities, children will not only be inspired to unleash their creativity and hands-on skills but also create lasting childhood memories of adventure and growth with their new friends.

Children can join the hotel's culinary team for a hands-on workshop where they will learn tips and tricks for making themed cakes.
