The Lobby has been a favorite meeting place for foreign guests and local residents since the hotel opened in 1976, be it for corporate executives in a hurry or for friends on the lookout for a quiet spot and a pick-me-up cup of coffee while exchanging the latest news. The much-beloved menu which includes beef short ribs kare-kare (beef short ribs stew slow-cooked in peanut and vegetable) and the award-winning Halo-halo Harana (a cooling tropical dessert made with shaved ice and tropical fruits topped with a scoop of purple yam ice cream) continues to hold a special place on guests' must-eat list.

Served in the heart of the hotel, The Lobby, the traditional Peninsula Afternoon Tea has become a local favorite and a beloved attraction for visitors since the hotel opened. Choose from carefully selected premium teas blended by The Peninsula's tea masters complemented with appetizing scones, quiches, tea sandwiches and assorted pastries.
