Discover the refined flavors of Bangkok as The Peninsula Tokyo presents a limited time showcase by Thiptara, the signature Thai restaurant of The Peninsula Bangkok.

In a celebration of the culture, traditions, and cuisine of Thailand, The Peninsula Tokyo is delighted to collaborate once again with Thiptara, the signature Thai restaurant of sister hotel The Peninsula Bangkok. Following last summer’s warm and well-received response to the promotion, this year marks the second consecutive collaboration, bringing the beloved flavors and authentic dishes of Thailand to The Lobby restaurant.

 

Thiptara is a feast for all the senses. Surrounded by majestic banyan trees and lush tropical gardens by the Chao Phraya riverside, the restaurant is helmed by Head Chef Monnipa Rungthong who is known for her authentic Thai cuisine that combines the flavors of seasonal ingredients with unique Thai spices using traditional cooking methods. The menu she will prepare at The Lobby includes 15 a la carte dishes and a 3-course and 4-course menu featuring a combination of popular dishes from the local menu.

Selections from the menu during the promotion include: Tom Kha Gai, with the subtle sweetness of coconut milk and sourness of lime and galangal; Tom Yam Kung, infused with the deep umami of freshwater Macrobrachium prawns; and Pad Thai, showcasing the mellow richness of succulent tiger prawns. To enhance the experience, Thai-inspired cocktails and mocktails will also be offered, perfectly complementing the vibrant flavours of each dish.
