The magic of the season is brought to life at The Peninsula Tokyo, and all Peninsula hotels around the world, with a global signature theme, ‘Stories from the Tree.' Six colourful character ornaments – including the Robin, the protagonist of this year’s story – adorn Christmas trees and displays throughout each hotel. A donation of JPY 500 from each purchase of these characters and from our Festive Afternoon Tea will benefit Japan School Library Association, which supports literacy efforts in the local community. The Peninsula Hotels has also produced a digital storybook entitled "The Robin's Journey" .
At The Peninsula Tokyo, the festive season will be brought to life once again under the global theme, ‘Stories from the Tree.’
Festive Afternoon Tea
Enjoy the spirit of the season with a Stories from the Tree themed Afternoon Tea at The Lobby amid live music and The Peninsula's joyous festive décor. Indulge in savory delicacies and delightful sweets crafted with the Robin and other holiday motifs, to be enjoyed with a selection of Peninsula original teas and the organic Art of Tea selection. A donation of JPY 500 from each Afternoon Tea sale will benefit the hotel’s charity partner.

Gingerbread House Decorating Class
Every Saturday and Sunday in December 3:00pm- / 5:00pm-
In this favorite program of the holiday season, children will experience a fun, hands-on workshop where they will decorate their very own gingerbread house using colorful candies, icing, chocolates and baked goodies. Participants can take their unique creations home to display and enjoy with family and friends.
Share The Robin's Journey
Parents and children can follow The Peninsula Pageboy and Pagegirl as they embark on a fairytale journey through time. Guided by the red-breasted robin, the young explorers travel from the tree in their living room to the Philippines to experience the Giant Lantern Festival, and South America to watch holiday roller-skaters.
