Ginza Iwa offers top-grade sushi at mid-range Ginza prices with lunch sets at around JPY 5,000 per head. Chef Hisayoshi Iwa learned the art of sushi-making at the famous Sushi Kanesaka. His style features mild-tasting rice and plenty of wasabi. Its distinctive street-level entrance adorned with a Japanese curtain is easy to find. Guests enter to find themselves in a small and friendly space seating only six guests at the counter and four in a private room. In the evening, luxurious Omakase courses are available accompanied by a fine selection of sakes.

Existing since 1954 Tempura Yamanoue prides itself with their silky-light tempura batter which is known to enhance the flavour of the ingredients they use. This sleek and stylish restaurant is part of head chef Inomata’s mission to create the finest possible yakitori sizzled to perfection on charcoal in front of guests’ eyes as they sit around the central counter.
