The hotel is continuing its pioneering spirit with the introduction of an immersive new wedding experience which provides couples’ friends and relatives abroad and those who cannot be present, with the opportunity to virtually witness every touching moment and share all the joy of the wedding celebration.

Through a novel partnership with a reputable wedding planning company, The Peninsula Hong Kong launches an innovative marriage celebration experience using the Zoom Video Communications Platform, which marries the cutting-edge use of this digital platform with the legendary services of The Peninsula to create memories to last forever.  

Prior to the big day, The Peninsula Hong Kong offers thoughtful programme planning incorporating an invitation presented in a bespoke Page Hat Hamper, delivered by one of the hotel’s iconic Pages. Within the gift set, virtual guests will find wedding party delights along with a bottle of Champagne and glasses for them to join in the celebrations in real time.   

On the wedding day, the couple will impress with a stunning venue, set-up and decorations, with the highlight being the live streaming of the complete wedding ceremony, from tea ceremony to the marching in, exchange of vows to the actual signing.  A photographer and team will capture the many treasured moments throughout, as well as provide advanced audio-visual and technology support.  
Virtual weddings can be hosted in The Peninsula Hong Kong’s themed suites or event venues. This unique package is priced from HK$ 75,000 for 20 guests in a function room, and from HK$ 125,000 for three hours in a themed suite. Each package includes personalised invitation cards and a bespoke Page Hat Hamper comprising a Peninsula Bear, artisanal chocolates; Page delivery service, Champagne and glasses are charged additionally.
