A new complimentary daily programme of Health, Culture and Harmony activities for all the family is designed to improve mental and physical wellbeing, and immerse guests in the diverse joys of staying in a riverside oasis in the heart of Bangkok.

 

 

The Thai Health, Culture and Harmony programme builds on the success of The Peninsula Bangkok’s weekly Health & Harmony experience combining sunrise yoga beside the river with contemplative reflection at the Gong Wu Shrine, the Health & Harmony experience has proven highly popular with guests from around the world. 

 

 

The Peninsula Bangkok has now curated a unique daily programme enabling guests to create their own path towards personal well-being while enjoying enriching cultural activities. Delicious healthy cuisine is also served at each restaurant to ensure that holistic exercise, cultural insights and balanced nutrition work in harmony to create a restful and rejuvenating stay at The Peninsula Bangkok.

Grace the court like a Grand Slam champion under the guidance of a professional tennis instructor. Every Monday at 5:00 pm, The Fitness Centre hosts a casual tennis class enabling guests to practice the perfect backhand, forehand and serve while enjoying healthy outdoor exercise.

 

 

Stretch for Stress Relief – Tuesday

 

To ensure guests enjoy a truly stress-free stay, the Fitness Centre team conducts a weekly body stretching class each Tuesday at 5:00 pm. Gentle stretching and body alignment techniques enhance muscle strength and flexibility, improve blood circulation and ease anxiety, leaving guests feeling fully refreshed and empowered to overcome the stresses of daily working life.

 

 

Sunrise Yoga Beside the River – Wednesday

Herbs and Spices Appreciation Class – Thursday

 

Thailand is revered as a land of flavours, and this inspiring tour of the Naturally Peninsula Garden unlocks the secrets of traditional Thai cuisine through its aromatic spices and herbs. Each Thursday at 4:00 pm, this class is perfect for family guests seeking insights into the medicinal powers of Thai herbs. Afterwards, guests enjoy a Thai herb salad tasting hosted by the hotel’s expert chefs.  

 

 

Staying Fit with HIIT – Friday

 

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is this year’s hottest fitness trend. Each Saturday from 5:50 am, this unforgettable programme combines meditative sunrise yoga overlooking the River of Kings, contemplative reflection at the historic Gong Wu Shrine, and a chance to sample local lifestyles in Princess Mother Memorial Park. 

 

 

Aquatic Fitness and Fun – Sunday

 

Sunday morning pool exercises accompanied by upbeat music are a fun way to reenergise the body and mind for the week ahead. Every Sunday at 10:00 am, the low-tier pool creates the perfect setting for fitness and fun for all the family to enjoy.

 

 

Tak Bart Alms Gifting Ceremony – Daily (except Sunday)

 

In addition to the seven Thai Health, Culture and Harmony activities, guests can share in the ancient Thai ritual of gifting food parcels to Buddhist monks, known as Tak Bart. Each morning, except Sunday, this colourful ceremony provides a unique understanding of a timeless Thai Buddhist cultural tradition. After sunrise, orange-robed monks from the Wat Suwan Temple arrive in the hotel garden to be gifted special food parcels prepared by the hotel chefs. After receiving the delicious morning snacks, the monks chant blessings to thank guests for their kindness and compassion.
