Toyo Eatery

08/04/2018
By Mr. Jose Luis Jimenez – Director of Food and Beverage

Toyo is one of the latest addition to the local dining scene, another off-the-beaten-track Makati eatery that is well worth hunting down. It may be named after a humble condiment (soy sauce, no less), but this bold flavour-pusher promises to raise the game for Filipino food, pushing the limits of local cuisine. Toyo calls themselves an “eatery” instead of a “restaurant” because the establishment wants to be known as a place to eat rather than a full-service restaurant. Its carefully thought-out menu dares to be inventive without losing sight of the traditional Filipino flavors. The modern and sleek eatery has a very inviting ambiance with an open kitchen and just the right mix of concrete and wood design.

Toyo is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 6 to 11:30 p.m.
