Peninsula Time Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Peninsula Time programme (“Peninsula Time”), offered by The Peninsula Hotels.
By booking a stay that includes Peninsula Time benefits, the guest acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Booking Requirements
1.1 Peninsula Time benefits are available only for reservations made:
• Directly through the official website of The Peninsula Hotels www.peninsula.com;
• Directly with official Peninsula reservations teams; or
• Through Peninsula travel agent partners.
1.2 Peninsula Time benefits do not apply to:
• Group bookings;
• Wholesale bookings;
• Online travel agency bookings; or
• Any other booking not made directly through the channels listed above.
1.3 Eligibility is determined at the time of booking and remains subject to compliance with these Terms.
2. Arrival and Departure Flexibility
2.1 Subject to availability, Peninsula Time allows:
• Arrival as early as 6:00 a.m.; and
• Departure as late as 10:00 p.m.
2.2 Guests must provide their intended arrival and departure times to the relevant hotel (“the Hotel”) at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Failure to do so may result in Peninsula Time benefits not being available.
2.3 Early check-in and late check-out depend on occupancy, room type, and operational considerations on the relevant dates and will be confirmed at the Hotel’s discretion.
2.4 If a guest room is not available at the time of arrival, the Hotel may, at its discretion, provide access to a temporary hospitality room until the guest room becomes available.
3. Blackout Dates and Availability
3.1 Peninsula Time is subject to blackout dates, which may apply during periods of peak demand.
3.2 Applicable blackout dates and restrictions will be disclosed in the specific rate terms applicable to the booking. A non-exhaustive list of each Hotel's blackout dates is set out below.
4. Rate Rules and Combinability
4.1 Peninsula Time benefits:
• Have no cash value;
• Are non transferable; and
• May not be redeemed, exchanged, sold, or substituted.
4.2 Peninsula Time may not be combined with other promotions, discounts, or special offers unless expressly stated otherwise.
5. Hotel Policies and Guest Obligations
5.1 All stays are subject to applicable:
• Policies of The Peninsula Hotels;
• Local laws and regulations; and
• Service charges, taxes, and levies.
6. Modification, Suspension, and Termination
6.1 The Peninsula Hotels reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to:
• Modify these Terms;
• Suspend Peninsula Time; or
• Terminate the Peninsula Time programme or any associated benefits.
6.2 Any such changes will apply from the time they are published or implemented.
6.3 Peninsula Time benefits are offered subject to availability and at the discretion of the Peninsula Hotels, and The Peninsula Hotels shall not be responsible for any costs, losses, or inconvenience arising from a guest’s reliance on intended arrival or departure times, including travel or accommodation arrangements.
7. Right to Refuse or Withdraw Benefits
7.1 The Peninsula Hotels reserve the right, at their discretion, to refuse, suspend, or withdraw Peninsula Time benefits for any individual booking or guest where such benefits are misused, obtained through misrepresentation, or cannot reasonably be provided due to operational requirements.
8. Force Majeure/ Events Beyond Control
8.1 Peninsula Time benefits may not be available where their provision is prevented or adversely affected by events beyond the reasonable control of The Peninsula Hotels, including force majeure events, government actions, emergencies, system failures, or staffing constraints, and The Peninsula Hotels shall not be liable in such circumstances.
9. Interpretation and Precedence
9.1 In the event of any inconsistency among:
• These Peninsula Time Terms;
• Hotel specific terms; and
• The General Terms and Conditions of the Hotel, the Hotel’s final interpretation shall prevail, subject always to applicable law.
10. Severability
10.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall fully continue in full force and effect permitted by law.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the Hotel at which the stay occurs, without regard to conflict of law principles.
