From Paris to Bangkok: An Afternoon Tea by Anne Coruble
In a celebration of artistry, heritage, and culinary excellence, The Peninsula Bangkok and The Peninsula Paris come together for an extraordinary cross-continental collaboration, reinterpreted with elegance, precision, and a strong sense of place. Created by Chef Anne Coruble, award winning Executive Pastry Chef of The Peninsula Paris, alongside Chef Jimmy Boulay of The Peninsula Bangkok.
Conceived as a progressive journey, the experience unfolds from delicate savoury expressions into more structured, umami driven compositions, culminating in desserts that balance acidity, sweetness, and texture. Premium ingredients such as Carabineros, Hokkaido scallop, and caviar are showcased alongside modern reinterpretations, with a signature pre dessert of lychee, puffed rice, and cherry blossom, plated à la minute, at its centre. Complemented by Chef Jimmy’s locally inspired elements, including Thai tea scones, the experience offers a seamless dialogue between Paris and Bangkok.
