How to apply for your Thailand Pass 

• Obtain your Thailand Pass by registering at https://tp.consular.go.th (a minimum of seven days prior to departure). 
• Select “Non-Thai nationals” or “Thai Nationals”.  
• Select “Exemption from Quarantine (Test and Go)”.
• Select country of departure (Thailand). 
• Fill in your details and upload the required documents. 
• Wait for the pre-approval of your Thailand Pass (approximately 3 days). 

Thailand Pass Regulation for Entering Thailand  

For your convenience in planning a trip to Thailand, please read about the current country-entering scheme and Thailand Pass regulation.

The processing time for Thailand Pass is 3-7 working days. Applicants are strongly advised to plan ahead and submit the registration for Thailand Pass at least 7 working days prior to departure. 

Eligible guests 

• Foreign guests, including but not limited to diplomats, guests of the government, Thai work permit holders, students and their family, and patients seeking medical treatment. 
• Thai citizens. 

Eligible countries 

• All countries/territories. 

Pre-Arrival Requirements 

All guests must have the following documents to enter Thailand: 

1. A Thailand Pass, which can be applied for via https://tp.consular.go.th/.  

2. From 1 May 2022 onwards, all guests entering Thailand by air are required to follow the new entry measures by obtaining the following beforehand.

• Required documents including passport, vaccination certificate

• Insurance with minimum coverage of at least USD 10,000 for medical treatments in Thailand

3. A Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination/Recovery

• Guests who are below the age of 12 can travel alone if they are fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to their travel. However, if they’re not fully vaccinated, they must travel with their parents.
• Guests 12-17 years of age travelling to Thailand must be vaccinated with at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to travel. If guest is not vaccinated, they must travel with their parents.
• Guests who are ages 18 and over must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to their travel.
• Guests of all age groups, who are fully vaccinated, can travel to Thailand alone.
• Guests with at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine after their recovery from COVID-19 infection are considered fully vaccinated (However, guests must have a medical certificate certifying their recovery).

All guests must undergo ‘exit screening’ at the point of departure – for example, at the airline check-in counter – and present the required documents to the person in charge for them to carry out the checks.

On-Arrival Requirements/During the Stay

1. All guests must undergo ‘entry screening’, including a body temperature check, at the point of entry.

2. Present the required documents to the Immigration/Health Control officer for them to carry out the checks, then follow the Immigration procedures.

3. Guests are recommended to take an ATK self-test upon arrival.

• Guests whose test result returns as positive will be referred for appropriate medical treatment in accordance with Thailand’s Communicable Diseases Act B.E. 2558 (2015). The expenses must be covered by the required insurance for foreign guests, or national healthcare coverage for Thais and eligible foreign expatriates.
• Depending on their conditions, they may be medically advised to receive treatment in either hospital hotel isolation or community isolation. While receiving medical treatment – for at least 10 days – they must remain in their accommodation only. They should not leave their accommodation unless absolutely necessary and must notify the Communicable Disease Control officer in charge.
• After having recovered from COVID-19, they will receive a medical certificate of recovery.

4. While in Thailand, guests are advised to strictly follow standards and good personal hygiene practices, such as wearing a mask in public, maintaining hand hygiene (washing with soap and water or using hand sanitizer) and keeping a physical distance of at least 1 metre from others.

• Guests who are experiencing COVID-like symptoms should get tested. If tested positive, they must get appropriate medical treatment. Those with a COVID-19 testing appointment must get tested.

5. All guests must download and install the ‘MorChana Application’ and always keep it on for the COVID-19 precautionary measures and to record the result on day 5-6 in the application.

Guidelines for Domestic/International Departures 

For domestic departures, guests must show proof that they have received a negative result for their RT-PCR test. 

For international departures, it is the responsibility of guests or their organisations to make sure that the guests meet the requirements of their specific international destination, regardless of the point of departure.
