Experience the award-winning cuisines of Yi Long Court and Sir Elly’s, which received a total of three Michelin stars from The Michelin Guide Shanghai 2018. The seasonally inspired six-course wine-pairing dinner combines exclusive dining experiences at both restaurants with an opportunity to meet the Michelin-starred chefs and watch them at work in their respective kitchens.
Guests begin the Michelin-starred Culinary Journey with a welcome cocktail in the kitchen at Yi Long Court, which is the proud holder of two Michelin stars. Chinese Cuisine Executive Chef Tang Chi Keung will discuss his unique approach to preparing traditional and contemporary Cantonese cooking. After meeting the chef, diners take their seats at Yi Long Court’s exclusive Chef’s Table to enjoy three courses, including Steamed east spotted grouper in light soy sauce and Crispy prawn coated with egg yolk paste and Braised prawn in mild chili sauce, which they can watch being prepared by Chef Tang and his team through a large glass window into the kitchen.
After enjoying the gastronomic delights of Yi Long Court, the focus moves to one-Michelin-starred Sir Elly’s, where Chef de Cuisine Hans Zahner and Executive Pastry Chef Lucien Gautier will serve two crafted savoury dishes, such as Truffle-stuffed frog’s leg in black garlic cream with Sichuan pepper and spearmint jelly, and a dessert of Pear and coffee cream with Baileys foam, coffee crumble, pear sorbet and lime zest, in the comfort of a private dining room. After the meal, diners enjoy coffee in the kitchen and learn from the two chefs about the secrets of preparing Michelin-starred modern European cuisine for diners in Shanghai.
