Mr. Nissenbaum has been Managing Director of The Peninsula Beverly Hills since December 2007. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he was Regional Vice President of Operations for Omni Hotels, based in New York City, overseeing eight properties on the East Coast. He concurrently served as the company’s corporate liaison to the Global Hotel Alliance, which includes international luxury brands such as Kempinski, Pan Pacific, Dusit and Leela.

Mr. Berger worked as Front Desk Manager at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in January 2006, later becoming Night Manager. He worked his way up to Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Manager, Director of Front Office Operations, Rooms Division Manager, Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms and, in April 2017, Resident Manager. Prior to joining The Peninsula, Mr. Berger assisted with the opening of Wynn Las Vegas.

Mr. Roche has been Director of Marketing at The Peninsula Beverly Hills since September 2010. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he was the Los Angeles-based Director of Business Development for SeaDream Yacht Club, following appointments in top sales and marketing positions at luxury hotel groups, including St Regis Hotels and Resorts, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Four Seasons.
Mr. Todd LabhartThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of Finance
Mr. Labhart was appointed Director of Finance at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 2017. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he spent 21 years at The Beverly Hills Hotel, serving as a Senior Account Analyst, Assistant Controller and, most recently, Controller for the past 13 years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Labhart held positions as Controller with Holiday Inn and Days Inn and also as a Regional Internal Auditor for 139 West Coast restaurants belonging to the Marriott Family Restaurant group.

As Executive Chef at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Chef Codney oversees all aspects of the hotel’s cuisine, including the contemporary Mediterranean-inspired fare at The Belvedere, the only AAA Five Diamond restaurant in Southern California every year since 1993, and the al fresco Roof Garden. Before joining The Peninsula in December 2012, Chef Codney spent a large part of his career at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Florida, where he rose to the position of Executive Sous Chef and was a member of The Ritz-Carlton Task Force, opening new hotels throughout North America.

Mr. Adams was appointed Director of Food & Beverage at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 2017. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he spent time at SLS Beverly Hills as Director of Food & Beverage and SBE Restaurant Group as Director of Operations, following a position at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles. Mr. Adams began his career in his native Australia at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney and moved to the United States in 2006.
Ms. Nancy KupkaThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of Human Resources
Having spent over 20 years in the hospitality business and specifically in the field of Human Resources, Ms. Kupka currently occupies the position of Director of Human Resources for The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Prior to The Peninsula, Ms. Kupka worked in Human Resources at other Los Angeles hotels including Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar, as well as many years with Le Meridien Hotels throughout the US.
Mr. Danny WongThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of EngineeringMr. Wong joined The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotel Limited in 1993 as Project Engineer where he oversaw the building services upgrade of the old building and integrated it with the hotel extension. In 1996, he transferred to The Peak Tram Company to oversee the redevelopment of the iconic Peak Tram Station and Tower. Following completion of The Peak Tower revitalization project, he relocated to California and joined The Peninsula Beverly Hills as Director of Engineering in 2008.

Having originally been on the Opening Team in 1991 as Director of Sales, Ms. Adams rejoined The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 2017 as Director of Sales & Strategy. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she spent time as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Beverly Hills Hotel, Hotel Bel-Air and Aman Resorts. Prior to rejoining The Peninsula, Ms. Adams worked for her own Marketing and Branding firm.
Mr. Toby LentThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of Catering & Private EventsMr. Lent was appointed Director of Catering and Private Events at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 2014. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he spent time at the St. Regis Princeville in Hawaii following positions at both Shutters On The Beach and Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. Mr. Lent brings with him several years of hospitality experience including The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, The Sheraton Universal Hotel and The Sheraton Stamford Connecticut.
Ms. Kathryn MorenaThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of Spa
Ms. Morena joined The Peninsula Beverly Hills in November 2015 as Spa Manager and now occupies the position of Director of Spa. Prior to The Peninsula, Ms. Morena worked in Spa operations at other Los Angeles hotels, including Beverly Wilshire, Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles and Montage Beverly Hills.
