Located in central Beijing, just a short walk from Tiananmen Square and the city’s historic cultural venues, The Peninsula Beijing has a collection of 61 suites and 170 rooms outfitted with the latest in-room technology and the finest furnishings. With standard rooms starting at an average of 65 square metres, our rooms are the largest in northern China. The hotel is home to a museum-quality collection of contemporary Chinese art, with more than 800 original art pieces, an art gallery and an art studio.   • Mr. Vincent Pimont
    The Peninsula Beijing
    General Manager
    Mr. Pimont joined the Peninsula Beijing as General Manager in Dec 2016 following a three-year tenure as the Hotel Manager for the opening of The Peninsula Paris. Mr. Pimont is neither a stranger to the capital nor to the hotel, as his career with The Peninsula Hotels began in 2007 as Director of Rooms at The Peninsula Beijing and then as Resident Manager upon his promotion in 2010.
  • Mr.Vince Reyes

    Director of Rooms
    Mr. Reyes started at The Peninsula Manila in 2005 as a Front Desk agent, followed by Front Desk Supervisor, Night Manager and eventually became Assistant Front Office Manager in 2009. He seized a golden opportunity in 2010 when he transferred to The Peninsula Bangkok to take on the role of Front Office Manager, then recently transferred to The Peninsula Beijing as Director of Rooms.
  • Mr. Andrea Azara

    Director of Food & Beverage
    With more than 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Singapore, Mr. Azara joined The Peninsula Shanghai in 2009 to open the new property as Assistant Food & Beverage manager. After four years of tremendous support, he joined the pre-opening team of The Peninsula Beijing in August 2015 to be promoted to Director of Food and Beverage in April 2017. His day to day enthusiasm and attention to detail makes him a strong member of The Peninsula Beijing team.
  • Ms. Sharon Yuen
    The Peninsula Beijing
    Director of Sales & Marketing
    A Hong-Kong native, Ms. Yuen joined The Peninsula Beijing following various hospitality sales roles in China and Hong-Kong. Ms. Yuen previously enjoyed a nine-year tenure in various sales positions, both with Shangri-La and W Hotels. She brings a wealth of sales expertise to The Peninsula Beijing.
  • Ms. Leigh Li
    The Peninsula Beijing
    Front Office Manager
    Ms. Li joined The Peninsula Beijing in 1996 and was one of the first female Concierges to be awarded the prestigious Clefs d'Or. Ms. Li started as a Guest Relations Officer in The Club in the early 1990s before working her way up to the Rooms Division. Ms. Li was appointed Chief Concierge in 2007 and then Front Office Manager in 2016.
  • Mr. Richard Glaze

    Executive Chef

    Mr Richard has more than 27 years’ working experiences in fine dining restaurant and international hotels among the world.  Chef Richard’s passion for fine cuisines took him into the international arena, and he has managed hotel openings as Chef De Cuisine at the multi-award-winning Madinat Jumeirah Resort, and for Westin and Le Meridien. After a successful spell in Sentosa Resort and Spa, Singapore as Executive Sous Chef, which garnered broad media exposure for combining Asian ingredients with modern Western cooking techniques, he relocated to China to take up the role of Executive Sous Chef at The Peninsula Shanghai. In 2015, he returned to the Middle East as Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, before joining Fairmont and Raffles Makati in Manila, capital city of the Philippines. Throughout his career, Chef Richard has gained extensive experience of global cuisines and developed a keen understanding of the desires of discerning diners in China, across Asia and around the world.

  • Mr. Frederic Moreau

    Executive Pastry Chef
    Mr. Moreau has more than 21 years’ experience under his chef’s hat, working in fine restaurants and international hotels in France, Africa, Belgium, Japan and in several cities in the United States. Mr. Moreau has also competed in prominent culinary tournaments around the globe, and is the winner of several prestigious international awards for his gifted pastry and dessert creations.
