La Vie En Rose

October 03, 2016
Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Sometimes a girl can feel guilty about Instagramming her food. Well, not when the dish is an ultra-pretty Rose Afternoon Tea concocted for charity. Everything’s coming up roses this October at The Peninsula Hong Kong, and it’s all for a good cause too.

Connoisseurs will love The Peninsula en Rose Afternoon Tea for two, with handmade pastries that whimsically adapt Chinese artist Chen Man’s iconic imagery, paired with a chilled glass of Rosé Champagne for each guest. Think tea earmarked for a romantic tryst! There’s also a Pink Afternoon Tea served daily in The Lobby. A portion of all proceeds will go to The Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry.

From Gaddi’s to The Verandah you can sample gorgeous cakes and desserts, or just drink pink. Order the ‘Fuchsia Fleur’ cocktail or ‘Blushing Peony’ mocktail, and gift 50% of the price to charity.

Prefer to receive your pampering prostrate? Then savour the hotel’s two-hour ‘Pretty Pink Glow’ spa experience, which starts with a healthy Pink Grapefruit Infused Cocktail, followed by a 90-minute Haute Couture Instant Radiance Facial and a 30-minute Destress Scalp, Neck and Shoulder Massage with Pink Hair and Scalp Mud and Hot Stones. Priced at HK$3,450 per guest, 30% of the proceeds will be donated to The Registry.

Alongside alluring pink-inspired art by Chen Man in the lavish Lobby, the Peninsula has covetable ‘Giving In Style’ products at its boutique, including pink pastries. Cute flat lay alert!
