LA’s Coolest New Club

February 15, 2017
The Peppermint Club

If you loved La La Land, you’ll adore The Peppermint Club, a romantic, retro 60s-inspired LA music lounge that could have tumbled straight off the screen of the nostalgic hit film.

A hot new celeb-adored WeHo haunt from the h.wood Group (Delilah), complete with throwback charm, old photos and Rat Pack party vibes, this vintage-chic venue’s motto is ‘Rock & Roll Saved My Soul’, picked out in atmospheric neon.

Live music is the focus, catering to true musicians and muso fans, with the integrated stage situated at the fore, handy for guest guitarists and keyboard kings. A collaboration with Interscope Records will see the label’s emerging and established talent perform, while you soak up the action from the plush comfort of “an executive’s living room.” State-of-the-art sound creates an exclusive setting for album release parties or live performances (recent acts included Aloe Blacc, Samantha Ronson and Johnny Danger, with a Sunday residency by Eighties tribute band The Spazmatics).

Bartender extraordinaire Adam Koral whizzes up cocktails named after iconic music venues at the central island bar, and there’s a small bites menu. Sink into an inviting leather banquette or intimate velvet seat for two, and enjoy stellar tunes, surrounded by Mid-Century Modern knick-knacks, geo-print rugs and glam lighting. It may not be Seb’s jazz bar from La La Land, but who knows, you might even meet your very own Ryan Gosling…

The Peppermint Club / 8713 Beverly Blvd / WeHo / by guest list only / 7pm-2am Wed-Sat, 9pm-2am Sun /
