All-Star Chef Classic

Call yourself a foodie? Then you should gobble up four-day LA culinary extravaganza All-Star Chef Classic. It’s your chance to get up close and personal with a cornucopia of rated global chefs, while tasting their appetite-whetting fare.

This swish multi-night affair, running from 8 to 11 March at LA Live, spotlights award-winning local chefs like Ludo Lefebvre (Trois Mec), Antonia Lofaso (Scopa Italian Roots), Mirko Paderno (Culina), and Dahlia Narvaez (Osteria Mozza), as well as top global toques such as fêted Australian talent Curtis Stone (Gwen) and Nice-born French pastry whizz François Payard.

Events include the hosted Masters Dinner Series, from French (8 Mar) to Italian (9 Mar), American (10 Mar) and East-West (11 Mar; waiting list only). Each features five starry chefs serving up five delicious multi-course dishes paired with wine. What’s more, they’ll cook before your eyes in the intimate state-of-the-art Restaurant Stadium, designed by appliance brand Fisher & Paykel to bring 250 fans kitchenside.

More casual Strolling Events allow for mobile tastings, with Southern Eats (10 Mar) and Grill & Chill (11 Mar) tickling your taste buds in the Chefs’ Tasting Arena. Both include 18 mouth-watering dishes by a posse of hot chefs, so you can roam and snack, with unlimited beer and wine keeping things sociable. Kids Cooking Classes (11 Mar) entertain the smalls. Book ahead!
