Spring Epicurean Market

March 16, 2015
Roll Out the Picnic Rug
Set within a lush and lovely, greenery fringed compound, resto-cafe Spring & Summer has long been a refuge beloved by Bangkokians for its illusory distance from the bustle of Sukhumvit. So where better to kick back on a lazy, sunny Sunday morning than on its grassy lawn, where every last Sunday of the month The Spring Epicurean Market presents the perfect spot to roll out the picnic rug, listen to some live music, and tuck into a fresh-baked empanada with craft beer in hand – all while the kids get to grips with the nifty play area.

In the leafy yard, oversized cushions and mats create a comfy loungey backdrop on which to enjoy the day’s wholesome, hand-picked bounty. The selection of local artisans has seen the likes of honest food purveyor Polpa’s organic salads and hefty sandwiches; homemade pasta by Private Cookers; and additive-free Belgian chocolate brownies from Sticky Piggy. The Bangkok heat got you more parched than a cured ham? Fret not, the market also features brow-cooling brews from LUXE favourite Mikkeller and Raitong Organics Farm’s all-natural ginger fizz. Appetite sated, now turn your attention to filling that reusable bag with some take-home gourmet goodies!
