This MINI ride took place at dawn in order to take advantage of a few quiet moments on Fifth Avenue and on the Brooklyn Bridge. Complimentary transfer about town in our bespoke MINI Cooper S Clubman is available to all guests who book a suite. Since the MINI Cooper S Clubman debuted in 2011 they have traveled over 13,000 combined miles - and that is solely on the island of Manhattan which is 22.7 sq miles!

Guests truly enjoy an urban oasis on the Sun Terrace, perched 22 stories high above Fifth Avenue where attendants are at their beckon call, from setting up a sun lounger to delivering a refreshing beverage. It is one of the only outdoor terraces in Mid-town where guests can lounge and catch some sun or enjoy outdoor dining while gazing at Central Park.

This after hours shot took place at world-renowned Van Cleef and Arpels jewelers Fifth Avenue location. A team of Van Cleef security guards was on hand throughout the shoot, protecting the millions of dollars worth of jewelry in the store. A private breakfast, lunch, dinner or event can be arranged at Van Cleef and Arpels through the Peninsula Academy program.

The book used in this shot weighs about 20 lbs. which is light for Taschen! This premier publishing house is well-known for its large-format art books. Our Page, Jose carried this all day for the shoot, with regular breaks to make sure his arms didn’t get too tired.

150 Champagne coups were used for the Champagne tower in this shot! This shot took place 23 floors above Fifth Avenue as our employees setup for a private masquerade ball. Did you know that Peninsula New York launched the first Salon de Ning? There are now three sister lounges in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Manila. Tomo, one of our Peninsula New York managers was also featured in our Portraits of Peninsula photo campaign when he worked at Peninsula Tokyo.

The Peninsula New York
The Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond Peninsula New York is ideally located on Fifth Avenue and 55th Street, in the heart of New York City's most prestigious shopping, cultural, and business neighborhood, in Mid-town Manhattan. A 23-story, 1905 landmark building, The Peninsula New York features 185 spacious and luxurious guest rooms and 54 suites, decorated in a classic, contemporary style.
Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. Completed in 1883, it connects the once independent cities, now boroughs, of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River.
Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is a 102-story skyscraper located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It stands a total of 1,454 ft (443.2 m) high and stood as the world's tallest building for 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972.
Central Park
Central Park was the first landscaped public park in the United States. The Park was initially opened in 1857. It was later improved, expanded and reopened in 1873. The Park consists of 843 acres, is 2.5 miles long and 0.5 miles wide. It is bordered on the north by West 110th Street, on the south by West 59th Street, on the west by Eighth Avenue and on the east by Fifth Avenue.
Fifth Avenue
Fifth Avenue is lined with prestigious shops and is consistently ranked among the most expensive shopping streets in the world. Fifth Avenue originates at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village and runs northwards through the heart of Midtown, along the eastern side of Central Park, where it forms the boundary of the Upper East Side until it terminates at 142 nd Street andHarlem River Drive.
