The first thing that will strike you after getting past the tight red rope at new Hollywood hotspot Warwick is the sheer scale and jaw-dropping beauty of the place. What started life as a vast bare brick shell has been transformed into a rustic-cum-glamourous barn of high beamed ceilings, imposing stone fireplaces, minimalist medieval chandeliers, Art Deco prints, Persian rugs and long worn leather sofas. The second thing that will have you cheering until next Tuesday is the vastly superior beverage options (heretofore unseen in LA) which include splendid seasonal ingredients, house-made syrups and bitters, and most importantly, top drawer liquor.

Standouts such as the Peach Cobbler, made with cognac, lemon juice, peach puree, and maple syrup; and the Kaffir Melon Cooler with gin, watermelon, kaffir lime, and pomegranate juice come courtesy of bartenders Jason Bran and Damian Windsor (both talented alums of The Roger Room). Meanwhile, elevating the experience from mere bar to luxury lounge is their ingenious table-side cocktail service where each mixologist ‒ armed with a drinks cart, all the latest equipage, and only one type of liquor ‒ whips up sips to your every whim. For example, a tequila mixologist specialises in Palomas or Margaritas, a gin mixologist can make Southsides, and best of all, the whiskey chap comes with a custom ice sphere-maker.
