In the unlikely event you’ve never heard of BEAMS, here’s the scoop: the almost 40 year-old Japanese apparel and lifestyle brand has expanded in recent years to encompass not only its original men’s and women’s lines, but also Tshirt, sport, kid’s and homeware collections, plus operations in international style hubs including New York, Milan, London and Paris. Not content to rest until they’ve achieved world domination however, the brand has launched its retail assault on the wider Asian market with a slew of openings in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and most recently in Bangkok, with a ‘100 days’ pop-up running through to the end of February.

The temporary white and pale wood Siam Paragon space is unsurprisingly (given its lifespan) pared-back in terms of decor, but the brand’s product scope is well and truly represented with a smartly-curated edit of men’s and womenswear, bags, accessories and shoes, plus art, home and even golf wear from all of the 10 different BEAMS diffusion lines including BEAMS PLUS, BEAMS T, Ray BEAMS, BEAMS Boy, Bpr BEAMS, BEAMS Golf, and Culture of Tokyo port by BEAMS. So if it’s a cool and casual Japanese style injection you seek, purses out and straight to Paragon you go!
