Corporate Executives


  • Ms. Maria Razumich-Zec
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Regional Vice President and General Manager

    Ms. Zec has been the General Manager of The Peninsula Chicago since 2002, shortly after the opening of the property. In May 2007, she was promoted to Regional Vice President of The Peninsula Hotels, USA East Coast. In her role, she oversees hotel operations for the Peninsula hotels in Chicago and New York.

  • Ms. Amanda Perlyn Jackson
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Regional Director of Marketing

    Amanda Perlyn Jackson was appointed Regional Director of Marketing effective May 2, 2016.  She brought with her over twelve years of global integrated marketing experience with a focus on strategy, driven by consumer insight.  Prior to joining The Peninsula Chicago, she was most recently with Hyatt Hotels Corporation for the past eight years. Most recently, she held the position of Senior Brand Manager, overseeing a portfolio of 37 Park Hyatt Hotels worldwide. 

  • Ms. Susan Ellefson
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Director of Public Relations

    Ms. Ellefson joined The Peninsula Chicago in December 2003. She has over 25 years of experience in hotel public relations and is an active member in various organisations including the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association.

  • Mr. Gregory Hyder
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Director of Catering

    Mr. Hyder was appointed Director of Catering and Conference Services at The Peninsula Chicago in 2000. He has 25 years experience in hotel catering, sales and marketing, human resources, management training and event organisation.

  • Ms. Jennifer Clarke
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Associate Director of Weddings

    With 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Ms. Clarke joined The Peninsula Chicago in 2003 as Executive Meeting Manager before being promoted to Associate Director of Weddings. She coordinates all of the weddings at the hotel, along with showers, birthday celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs and anniversary parties. 

  • Ms. Susie Jankowiak
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Spa Director

    Ms. Jankowiak began her career with The Peninsula Chicago in March 2005. She has worked for various departments in the hotel including Food and Beverage and Front Office. In 2015 she was promoted to Spa Manager. She has worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 15 years.

  • Chef Toni Robertson
    The Peninsula Chicago
    Executive Chef

    Chef Robertson has worked in a variety of markets within luxury hotels and resorts designing five-star culinary programs and restaurant concepts.  She began her culinary career at the Culinary and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. She has held Executive Chef roles at several luxury hotel properties in Sonoma, South Africa, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Singapore.
