Since its grand opening in 2001, The Peninsula Chicago has been awarded numerous accolades, all of which are a testament to hard work, dedication and unparalleled service provided by the hotel to its guests. The Peninsula Chicago is without a doubt the city’s most luxurious and sophisticated hotel, offering guests a perfect combination of Asian graciousness with Midwestern hospitality.
The Peninsula Chicago’s success depends on the positive attitude, dedication and hospitality of its employees to exceed guests’ expectations. The hotel encourages a culture of open communication and provides a professional working environment. Staff are rewarded with a competitive salary, a complete benefits package including health coverage, dental, a life insurance plan, a commuter benefits programme and a 401k plan that matches up to 5% of contributions. The Peninsula Chicago strives for the best quality service, and goes above and beyond to take care of the most important aspect of its business: the staff.
Despite being one of the younger Peninsula properties, The Peninsula Chicago has already made an impression on Chicagoans and visitors alike, receiving some of the hospitality industry’s most prestigious accolades including the Forbes Five-star Award and the AAA Five-diamond Award every year since 2002.
