Mr. Nissenbaum has been Managing Director of The Peninsula Beverly Hills since December 2007. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he was Regional Vice President of Operations for Omni Hotels, based in New York City, overseeing eight properties on the East Coast. He concurrently served as the company’s corporate liaison to the Global Hotel Alliance, which includes international luxury brands such as Kempinski, Pan Pacific, Dusit and Leela.

Mr. Overbaugh spent four years as the hotel’s Executive Chef before he was promoted to his current role as Executive Assistant Manager – Food and Beverage Operations in December 2012, in which he oversees all aspects of dining at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Overbaugh joined The Peninsula in 2008 after 11 years as Executive Chef at Château du Sureau, a Relais & Châteaux, Forbes Five Star rated hotel in Oakhurst, California.

Prior to joining The Peninsula, he was the Los Angeles-based Director of Business Development for SeaDream Yacht Club, following appointments in top sales and marketing positions at luxury hotel groups, including St Regis Hotels and Resorts, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Four Seasons.

As Executive Chef at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Chef Codney oversees all aspects of the hotel’s cuisine, including the contemporary market-driven fare at The Belvedere, the only AAA Five Diamond restaurant in Southern California every year since 1993, and the al fresco Roof Garden. Before joining The Peninsula in December 2012, Chef Codney spent a large part of his career at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Florida, where he rose to the position of Executive Sous Chef and was a member of The Ritz-Carlton Task Force, opening new hotels throughout North America.
Mr. Toby LentThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of Catering & Private EventsMr. Lent was appointed Director of Catering and Private Events at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 2014. Prior to joining The Peninsula, he spent time at the St. Regis Princeville in Hawaii following positions at both Shutters On The Beach and Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. Mr. Lent brings with him several years of hospitality experience including The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, The Sheraton Universal Hotel and The Sheraton Stamford Connecticut.

Mr. Ploetz joined The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 2014 bringing with him considerable experience in both hotels and chef-driven concept restaurants. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin he worked for Four Seasons Hotels, holding positions at Four Seasons Chicago and Four Seasons Jackson Hole. In 2008 Michael began an extended tenure with José Andrés’ Think Food Group, holding several posts with the company including Tres, The Bazaar at the SLS, and finally as opening General Manager of Jaleo at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Michael has also worked for Auberge Resorts and most recently as Corporate Director of Operations for celebrity Chef Michael Voltaggio.

With over a decade of experience in luxury resorts and spa, Ms. Loose has worked at the prestigious Canyon Ranch Health Resort and Spa in Tuscon, Arizona as well as The Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, California.
Mr. Randall FortierThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of FinanceMr. Randall Fortier first joined The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 1995 as Controller. In 2000, he left the hotel and worked at various other properties including The Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club in Rendo Beach and The Inn at Gig Harbor in Washington State. Mr. Fortier returned to The Peninsula in 2011 as Director of Finance.
Mr. Danny WongThe Peninsula Beverly HillsDirector of EngineeringMr. Wong joined The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotel Limited in 1993 as Project Engineer where he oversaw the building services upgrade of the old building and integrated it with the hotel extension. In 1996, he transferred to The Peak Tram Company to oversee the redevelopment of the iconic Peak Tram Station and Tower. Following completion of The Peak Tower revitalization project, he relocated to California and joined The Peninsula Beverly Hills as Director of Engineering in 2008.

Having spent over 20 years in the hospitality business and specifically in the field of Human Resources, Ms. Kupka currently occupies the position of Director of Human Resources for The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Prior to The Peninsula, Ms. Kupka worked in Human Resources at other Los Angeles hotels including Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar, as well as many years with Le Meridien Hotels throughout the US.
