  • Clement King Man Kwok
    Corporate
    Chief Executive Officer

    A Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he joined the Group in February 2002 as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, and is a Director in most of the Group's entities. Mr. Kwok’s career began with Price Waterhouse and Barclays de Zoete Wedd in the United Kingdom, following which he returned to Hong Kong in 1986 to work with Schroders Asia. From 1996 to 2002, he had served as Finance Director of MTR Corporation. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Swire Pacific Limited, a fellow of The Hong Kong Management Association, a Council Member of the World Travel & Tourism Council and serves on the Board of the Faculty of Business and Economics of The University of Hong Kong.

  • Alan Clark

    Chief Financial Officer

    A Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom, Mr. Clark joined the Group in March 2014 as Chief Financial Officer, and is a Director of most of the Group’s entities. He began his career with KPMG in South Africa in 1985. He previously worked for Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts as Deputy Vice President Finance, Europe and for Malmaison & Hotel du Vin Hotels as Group Financial Controller, and then Financial Director. Since 2010 and prior to joining the Group, Mr. Clark served as Group Finance Director of Rocco Forte Hotels.

  • Peter Camille Borer

    Chief Operating Officer

    Appointed to the Board as an Executive Director in April 2004, he is a graduate of the Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne, Switzerland and is now a member of the International Advisory Board of the school. Mr. Borer joined the Group in 1981. He was appointed General Manager of The Peninsula Hong Kong in 1994, taking on additional regional responsibilities in 1999 and culminating in his appointment as Chief Operating Officer, The Peninsula Hotels, in April 2004. Mr. Borer is also a Director in most of the Group's entities.

  • Martyn Sawyer

    Group General Manager, Properties and Clubs

    Group General Manager, Properties and Clubs since 1999, Mr. Sawyer holds regional responsibility for the Group’s non-hotel properties and operations including The Repulse Bay Complex and The Peak Complex in Hong Kong, as well as management of properties and clubs in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand. He has been with the Group since 1985.

     

  • Christobelle Liao

    Group Director

    Ms. Liao is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. After a number of years in legal practice, she joined the Group as Company Secretary and Corporate Counsel in 2002 and currently holds the position of Group Director.

  • Maria Razumich-Zec

    General Manager, The Peninsula Chicago/Regional Vice-President - USA East Coast

    Mrs. Razumich-Zec joined the Group as General Manager of The Peninsula Chicago in 2002 and was promoted to the position of Regional Vice-President – USA East Coast in 2007, with regional responsibilities covering The Peninsula Hotels in Chicago and New York.

  • Rainy Chan

    General Manager, The Peninsula Hong Kong and Area Vice-President - Hong Kong and Thailand

    Ms. Chan joined The Peninsula Hong Kong in 1994 and, after a series of internal promotions, was appointed General Manager of The Peninsula Bangkok from 2004 to 2007. In 2007 she was appointed General Manager of The Peninsula Hong Kong, in addition to which she was promoted to the position of Area Vice-President – Hong Kong and Thailand in 2010.

  • Sindy Tsui

    General Manager, Human Resources

    Ms. Tsui was appointed General Manager, Human Resources in 2007. With many years of experience in human resources management in the hospitality industry, she is responsible for the Group’s strategy on human resources, talent development and training.

  • Robert Cheng

    Vice-President, Marketing

    Mr. Cheng is the Vice President, Marketing, in charge of branding, public relations, guest engagement and e-commerce for The Peninsula Hotels. Before taking up this position, he was the Director of Marketing at The Peninsula Shanghai. A graduate of Brown University in the United States and INSEAD in France, Mr. Cheng has held various positions in strategy, marketing and business development with luxury real estate and service companies, including American Express, where he was Director of the Centurion and Platinum card portfolios, and Candy & Candy (the London-based developers of the prestigious One Hyde Park residences). Before joining The Peninsula Shanghai, he was Global Director of Marketing for De Beers Diamond Jewellers in London, a joint venture between LVMH and the De Beers Group.

  • Ingvar Herland

    General Manager, Research & Technology

    Mr. Herland joined the Group in 2006 and was appointed General Manager, Research & Technology in 2008. He is responsible for the design, development and implementation of technology in the Group’s hotel and non-hotel properties. 

  • Shane Izaks

    Mr. Izaks was appointed General Manager, Information Technology in 1995 and is responsible for formulating and implementing information technology strategy at both Group and operational levels.

  • Douglas Lui

    General Manager, Audit & Risk Management

    Mr. Lui was appointed General Manager, Audit & Risk Management in 2010 and is responsible for providing assurance services on the effectiveness of internal controls and the management of risks.

  • Paul Tchen

    General Manager, Operations Planning and Support

    Mr. Tchen joined the Group in 1992 and was appointed General Manager of The Peninsula Shanghai in 2008, following a two-year tenure as General Manager, Operations Planning and Support. In May 2011, he returned to his previous position as General Manager, Operations Planning and Support.

  • P.T. Wong

    General Manager, Projects Group

    Mr. Wong first joined the Group in 1996 but left in 2002. In 2006, he re-joined HSH and in 2008 was promoted to the position of General Manager, Project Coordination and Technical Services. In March 2011, he was appointed as General Manager, Projects Group, overseeing project management and design and planning functions.

  • Simon Yip

    Vice-President, Sales

    Mr. Yip joined The Peninsula Bangkok in 2001 as Director of Sales & Marketing and was posted to various HSH operations in subsequent years. In January 2012, he was appointed Vice President, Sales for The Peninsula Hotels, tasked with overseeing the hotels’ sales activities.
