Meanwhile, single spoonfuls of salted, creamy caviar are sold for JPY 1620 a pop or if you’re feeling particularly peckish – and have the funds to back up your appetite – 30 g of their finest Oscietra caviar goes for JPY 20,283. And to keep your polished palate light, they serve Brut Champagne and Clarendelle from Bordeaux to accompany. Kanpai! Or should we say Santé?
