The Bull & Claw
 
The clawed crustacean and his brawny bovine counterpart have enjoyed a long and illustrious – albeit quite extraordinary – relationship. Few can remember exactly how it began, to most it’s not important. What is important, however, is how well they complement one another, and that’s exactly what is celebrated at stylish new Jing’an joint, The Bull & Claw.
 
They’re joined on the menu by another of their cronies – craft beer – completing a taste-tastic trio, which has already amassed this recent arrival a fervent band of followers. Taking residence in an open-fronted retro-American diner with a gastro-pub feel – think hardwood flooring, vintage wall prints and cherry-red Stam-style seating – the three amigos and their airy eatelier encourage a warm and lively atmos.
 
A compact a la carte offering illustrates both the bull and the claw at their best, with the former imported from Oz and the latter flown in daily from Nova Scotia. Meat-heads should sample the burger or the ribeye on the bone, while seafood-sweethearts will be tempted by the thermidor Caesar salad and lobster served straight up. Or anyone who cannot bear to separate the surf from the turf can enjoy just that. 

Portions are generous, but we entreat you to save space for the sweets – they’re well worth loosening your belt for. Chocolate malt sea salt ice cream… need we say more? And, to make it all the merrier, whet your whistle with one of 18 local and international craft beers on tap. Cheers!
