White Bird

For a one-stop-shop of bohemian-chic adornments, wing your way to White Bird, the Paris boutique known for curating global fine jewellery designers. Expect to find one-off and limited editions, the rare and refined, the aspirational and the affordable, classic and contempo, craftsmanship and cool.

Founder and self-taught jeweller Stéphanie Roger has recently unveiled her second upscale boutique in hip hood the Marais (a sister to the original store on swish rue du Mont Thabor near Place Vendôme). Known for its mix of artisanal fashion and dining, Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire has long been a mecca for jewellery fans. The new store has a warm-industrial feel, designed by En Bande Organisée with architect Johanna Etournel. Tough aluminium and glass meets tactile limestone, brass and felt, with interiors that feel like a tasteful pal’s inviting vintage-modern apartment.

At White Bird you can pick up sensual precious rings by London talent Pippa Small, Native American handcrafted beads by Stormie, Parisian Charlotte Chesnais’ sculptural earrings and German Stefanie Schneider’s textile-inspired geo bracelets. There are around 40 designers on display, almost all women, each offering work perfect for glam gifts (for yourself or your partner).

Get the luxurious finish of the likes of Cartier, Piaget, Chaumet and Dinh Van (where Roger trained), mixed with her cutting-edge eye for design and French flair when you buy a stunning White Bird piece. Our heart’s already a-flutter…
