Spanish Style

March 29, 2014
Hoss Intropia

We’ve all come to know and love Spanish style via affordable everyday labels such as Mango and Zara, but now Hong Kong is getting a taste for the more luxurious side of Iberian fashion with the arrival of Hoss Intropia. The high-end Vizcaya-born label has now opened a gorgeous 100 square metre boutique in Tsim Sha Tsui’s Harbour City, outfitted in a style that well reflects its aesthetic with vintage stucco walls, floral motifs, gilt detailing and thick white carpeting.

But what’s especially to love about Hoss is its distinct lack of faddish, loud colours and futuristic fabrics; their lines (including one by designer Miguel Palacio) are instead fresh, elegant and timeless. Ready-to-wear collections vary from the modern, like their silky purple and black jumpsuits and flapper-style colour-block tunics in white, salmon, black and yellow, to the more classic, like a round collar, sash-waisted cream silk slip dress and a crêpe beige blazer with beaded and sequin lapels. The store also carries a selection of eye-catching accessories such as summer-ready jewelled sandals, soft suede wedges, and handbags made from straw degradé and weaved metallic gold and fuchsia fabrics. Also not to be missed is their line in statement jewellery, including this season’s multicut resin aquamarine earrings, filled with metal shavings and accented with lacquered gold tassels. Spanish and stylish!
