Los Angeles’s Walt Disney Concert Hall is most famous for its curvy, futuristic stainless steel façade, by architect Frank Gehry, but it also boasts brilliant acoustics.
Test them out at holiday concert series Deck The Hall at WDCH, home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, with vibrant performances ranging from choral gems to gospel, jazz and more.
It’s not Christmas without the Messiah, and by that we mean Handel’s musical version (15 and 17 Dec). Bernard Labadie conducts the LA Phil and his chamber choir La Chapelle de Québec in this choral epic, including the rousing Hallelujah chorus.
