The charming, conservatory-inspired dining room brings the feeling of the outdoors in, with glass walls and ceilings showcasing the surrounding trees, foliage and streaming sunlight. Naturally, the pretty situ is best enjoyed at lunchtime along with Alameda’s good value set menu. Start with Peruvian causas topped with tilapia ceviche and mango salsa, or beef tacos smothered with melted cheese, then build your own main from a selection of meat (pork tenderloin, beef escalope), fish (sea bass), side (linguini, mashed polenta) and sauce (red wine, lemon butter) options. Round off with rice pudding or cappuccino panna cotta and a glass of the house wine (included). Score!
