Swish Swiss Décor
When brothers Willy and Dagobert Schneidinger started a small, family-run textile enterprise in 1920s Switzerland, little could they have known that some 90 years later the business would have expanded not only to include a full range of furniture and homeware products, but also international flagships in places as far-flung as Shanghai. Following the opening of the first Parkside Plaza branch just a year ago, the instantly-popular brand has followed it up with a second location in Pudong, and if initial crowds offer any indication, it’s that this gleaming one-stop ‘house-fitter’ is very much here to stay.
There are bedframes with tufted leather headboards, modular sofas that can be shuffled to suit all lounge areas, kitchen utensils and crockery, ergonomic office pieces, walnut dining tables and lighting, all featuring the smart European design aesthetic for which the brand is known. Textiles remain a core segment of the servimex product offering, with natural cotton and sateen bedsheet sets, velvet cushions and neckrolls all available is a range of vibrant hues. Add in a cute and functional range of children’s bunk beds, table and chair sets, wall stickers and educational toys, and you’ll need look no further when redecorating any room in the house. Go Swiss!
