Cocktail connoisseurs will enjoy The Compass Bar’s new signature, Shanghai Mist.

This cool cocktail is a refreshing blend of Shanghai white vodka, green tea, lemon juice and soda water topped with lychees and limes. The name was inspired by Shanghai’s history as a global shipping and commerce centre dating back to the Yuan Dynasty. Shanghai Mist symbolises this rich heritage, which was largely misted over by the mistaken belief that Shanghai was simply a fishing village until the early 19th century. Mist is also a method of cocktail mixology, whereby liquor is served over a glass filled with crushed ice to create a ‘mist’ effect.
