The Academy programme provides hotel guests with unique and unforgettable ways to experience New York City’s culture, lifestyle, cuisine, arts and history through Peninsula-style tours, classes and activities.

Downtown Gallery Tour
The new “Art of Hospitality” Academy experience is designed to provide an exclusive art-focused learning experience for Peninsula guests. This exclusive two-hour private walking tour can be arranged in several of the city's most prolific areas for galleries, including Chelsea, SoHo or The Lower East Side. Guests will learn more about the hottest artists currently exhibiting in the city with the option to purchase artwork from emerging new artists under the direction of an expert guide.

US$ 600 for up to four persons, including roundtrip transportation in a chauffeur-driven sedan.


Air and Water on the Isle of Manhattan
This unique Academy programme is perfect for families or friends traveling together who wish to have a thrilling day adventure in the city. Guests will experience Manhattan from high above the island with a private helicopter ride followed by a tour of the Intrepid Space and Air Museum, one of America’s leading historic, cultural and educational institutions. The aircraft carrier Intrepid is one of the most successful ships in US history and features a range of interactive exhibits and events, providing a snapshot of American heroism and education.

US$ 2,075 for up to four persons, including transportation in a chauffeur-driven sedan or SUV for the duration of the tour.
