Breakfast Is Served
Breakfast at Antonio's
A true advocate of the belief that ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’, chef Antonio ‘Tonyboy’ Escalante launched his popular all-day diner back in 2003, serving morning indulgence from dawn til dusk. After a few location moves and temporary closure, Breakfast at Antonio’s has returned once again to its former home in a 1960s Spanish beach house just along from its sister fine diner (also monikered Antonio’s), with a chic white and dark wood fitout and stunning views of the Taal volcano.
Enjoy coffee, tea, smoothies or juices (while early imbibers can opt for Mimosa cocktails) with freshly-baked croissants, before breakfast favourites like Spanish sardines, Eggs Florentine or New Zealand smoked salmon with cream cheese and scrambled eggs. Also on offer are roesti (Swiss crisp potato pancakes) and savoury crepes, as well as omelettes, sandwiches (try the homemade pastrami with Russian dressing) and fresh fruit for the health-conscious.
Sweet-toothed patrons will delight in the sundaes, splits and waffles, along with pancake must-tries like the chocolatey Devil’s Delight with strawberries, cream and delectable chocolate sauce, or the Jaffa with orange segments in Grand Marnier, chocolate ice cream and specialty burnt syrup. Move over Tiffany’s, Antonio’s got breakfast covered.
