The Peninsula Spa
Etiquette
Our philosophy allows an abundance of time for each guest, so we ask you to arrive up to 60 minutes before your appointment to change, enjoy the heat experiences and allow for peaceful moments in our luxurious relaxation lounge. Please notify our staff of any medical conditions beforehand, and thank you for switching your cellphone off while it’s in your locker during treatments.
Scheduling an Appointment
To ensure your preferred time and service is available, we recommend advance booking.
Our specialist Spa reception team are available to guide and assist you in selecting the most suitable treatment for you.
As an alternative to choosing specific treatments, we would encourage you reserve an appointment for Treatment Time (a minimum of two hours) and allow your therapist to identify and work on your individual and specific needs that day.
A 50% cancellation charge will be incurred for any treatment or Spa Programme not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Cancellation within 12 hours will incur a 100% charge.
Health Conditions
Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your Spa reservation.
We have specially designed treatments for expectant and nursing mothers. Please advise our Spa team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you during this special time.
Age Requirement
A minimum age of 16 is required for access and treatments in The Peninsula Spa.
Pre-Arrival Preparation
We would like to invite hotel guests to arrive at The Spa wearing the robe and slippers provided in the guest room, and would advise that valuables are left in the in-room safe.
The Spa will provide towels, slippers, shower caps and all amenities required for use during your visit
Arrival Time
You are encouraged to arrive 60 minutes prior to your appointment to change, relax and enjoy the exclusive facilities at The Spa. Please understand that late arrivals may result in a reduction of treatment time.
During Your Spa Visit
Our Spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquillity. Please respect all Spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity. In light of this, the Spa is a mobile phone-, pager- and smoke-free zone.
The use of swimwear is optional in our Thermal Suite facilities, as these are separate for male and female guests.
All treatments include use of the Asian Tea Lounge and Relaxation Areas.
Homecare
To continue your Spa regime and experience at home, all products used in the treatments are available for purchase from the Spa Reception.
