Jazzy Jewels and Chic Designs
With the retail offering in Hong Kong’s fashionable Soho district ever-growing, diversifying and creeping up towards the Peak, locals were thrilled to discover the adorable fashion and jewellery of Caine Road’s newest resident Caty when it opened this past October.
Launched by Taiwanese stylista Chienie Tsai to supply local accessory mavens with cult and hard-to-find brands from Europe and the U.S., the diminutive, monochrome and pop-art-adorned spot overflows with select pieces from Michael Kors and Anne Klein, as well as on-trend designs by San Francisco-based Stella & Dot, and the pearl and silver styles of 40-year-old brand Carolee Lux, with Tsai’s own line coming soon.
From glam and elaborate to delicate and bridal, Caty’s current stock includes attention-grabbing must-haves like J. Crew’s gorgeous floral necklace with hand-cut faceted Czech-glass crystals, and Kate Spade’s eye-catching cherry pink neckwear that features brightly-coloured flowers with a faux-pearl centre.
With most pieces considered one-of-a-kind, it’s hardly surprising to find many of them flying off the shelves within days of landing in store, but thankfully new stock arrives twice weekly, and with Tsai kindly offering Peninsula Hotel guests an extra 10% off, there’s simply no time for indecisiveness - purses out!
