With The Peninsula’s cooking classes, guests are shown just how and why the hotel’s restaurants are rated amongst the finest in the world. Small groups are guided through the intricacies of food preparation as chefs from The Peninsula’s restaurants demonstrate their techniques.
Each programme begins with a light, informal breakfast, followed by the cooking class and ending with lunch for guests to sample some of the dishes demonstrated.

Classic and Modern French Cuisine - 23 to 26 January Classic Home Gatherings - 13 to 16 March Cooking with Spirits - 8 to 11 May Sugar-free Desserts - 26 to 29 June Ocean’s Harvest (All About Seafood) - 25 to 28 September Perfect Pairing - 16 to 19 October Chocolate and Cakes - 6 to 9 November Each cooking class is priced at HK$ 1,280 net per person, per day and includes breakfast, lunch and a gift. The Peninsula Kids' Academy A La Carte Programme Cooking Classes
The Peninsula Kids’ Academy cooking class programme is for children between the ages of 6 to 12. The classes are hands-on, and conducted by the hotel’s chefs the Banquet Kitchen, with an emphasis on fun activities. Held on Saturday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, classes start with a light breakfast for the youngsters and their escorts. At 10:30 am the class begins, with escorts excused until 12:00 noon. Students take home the skills they learned, as well as a souvenir gift.
