Airport Transfers
The O’Hare International and Midway Airports are gateways to Chicago and the Midwest. All major international and domestic flights serve both airports. Transfer time to and from the airports into the city varies from 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic and weather, especially during winter.

Taxi
Taxis at the airport are readily available from the arrival or lower level of all terminals. The fare is based on the meter and the fare from O'Hare International and Midway Airport into the city are at about US$50 and US$40 respectively.
Train
The 24 hour train service operated by the Chicago Transit Authority is one of fastest way from O’Hare International airport to downtown Chicago, especially during heavy traffic hours. The trip journey is around 40 minutes.
