New Culinary Creations at The Peninsula Chicago
The Lobby welcomes Chef Lee Wolen
Fantastic news for visitors to The Peninsula Chicago – whether you’ve travelled from abroad or from just across town, you’ve landed front row seats to the show of culinary magic set to hit the stage starting this September. Lee Wolen, the new Chef de Cuisine at The Lobby restaurant and bar, comes to The Peninsula from his previous job as sous chef at NYC’s world famous, three Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park, which has stacked up an impressive list of accolades not least a top ten ranking in S. Pellegrino’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Prior to that, Wolen graced the Chicago kitchens of Moto and Butter, and even donned his apron at Ferran Adrià’s fabled elBulli.
Now back in the Windy City and at the helm of The Lobby, Wolen has teamed up with The Peninsula Chicago’s award-winning culinary team to create new dining concepts for the restaurant – from a brand new menu to updated table settings and lighting, no stone will be left unturned before the grand reveal later this month. Stay tuned, and do be sure to book ahead – this is one show you won’t want to miss.
