  C-View is located in the Affinia Chicago Hotel just off the Magnificent Mile and offers incredible views of Chicago’s skyline. On the 29th floor of the hotel, this lush lounge is surrounded by a glass wall that allows viewers to experience Chicago from above. The menu offers a variety of things such as yellowtail tacos, a lobster club sandwich and a signature item, the Angus burger with house-made ketchup.

• Green Dolphin Street
  Tucked away on the west side of Lincoln Park, Green Dolphin Street is a favourite for jazz, from traditional to Latin to big band. The bar showcases a dramatic floor-to-ceiling liquor case full of top-shelf liquors and a humidor filled with world-class cigars. Green Dolphin Street's dining room has seagreen walls, darkwood accents and artfully curved light fixtures. Tables are close enough to be intimate but allow enough room to dance.

  This quintessential Chicago romantic spot is located atop the John Hancock building on Michigan Avenue. A spectacular view is a given from almost any part of the Signature Room on the Hancock's 95th floor or Signature Lounge on the 96th. The theme throughout is elegant Art Deco, with dark wood, marble tile and accent lighting.   For an authentic Irish pub, visit Fado where every piece of woodwork, stone and décor has been brought over from the Emerald Isle.
