  • Ms Maria Zec
    General Manager and Regional Vice President - USA East Coast
    Ms Zec has been the General Manager of The Peninsula Chicago since 2002, shortly after the opening of the property. She was promoted to Regional Vice President—USA East Coast, The Peninsula Hotels in May 2007. In her role, she oversees hotel operations for Peninsula Hotels located in Chicago and New York.
  • Mr Marc Anderson
    Director of Marketing
    Mr Anderson began his career with The Peninsula Chicago in May 2007. He has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and is an active member of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and ASAE and the Center for Association Leadership.
  • Ms Pamela Miller
    Director of Sales
    Ms Miller joined the hotel as part of the pre-opening team in November 2000 as the Director of Sales. She has over 20 years of experience in the hotel Sales & Marketing arena and is a Chicago native.
  • Ms Susan Ellefson
    Director of Communications / Head of PR
    Ms Ellefson joined The Peninsula Chicago in December 2003. She has over 20 years of hotel public relations experience and is an active member in various organizations including Greater North Michigan Avenue Association.
  • Mr Jisoo Chon
    Director of Food & Beverage
    Mr. Chon joined The Peninsula Chicago in February 2008 as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, and in September 2010 was promoted to Director of Food & Beverage. He has over a decade of luxury hotel experience, overseeing room service and restaurants at other properties prior to The Peninsula Chicago.
  • Mr Greg Hyder
    Director of Catering
    Mr Hyder was appointed Director of Catering and Conference Services at The Peninsula Chicago in winter 2000. He has over 18 years’ experience in hotel catering covering sales and marketing, human resources and management, training, and event organization.
  • Mr Larry Riordan
    Director of Human Resources
    Mr Riordan began his career with at The Peninsula in July 2000, as a part of the pre-opening team. In his career, he has been a part of three hotel openings and has extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Mr Todd Nelson
    Head of Concierge
    Mr Nelson has been running the Concierge Desk at The Peninsula Chicago since the hotel opened in 2001. A Chicago native, Nelson has been a concierge for over 14 years and is a member of the Les Clefs d'Or U.S.A.
