A decade old and still hugely popular among the fashionable set, cult denim brand Citizens of Humanity is celebrating the big 1-0 just the way we like it - with a six-month pop-up in West Hollywood featuring all the brand’s spring 2013 collection must-haves.
Spanning an impressive 2,000 sq ft, and featuring a glass and concrete interior designed in collaboration with Rene Holguin, the stylish concept store boasts high ceilings, exposed ducts, a sweeping staircase and upper mezzanine level with decorative accents like wall-mounted vintage surfboards, espresso bar and comfy lounge complete with colourful floor cushions, offering the perfect situ for those inner shopaholic debates.
With entry granted by appointment only, this Cali-meets-Paree label caters for both homme and femme stylistas, with Chloe high-waisted shorts, skinny Thompson’s in chick yellow and striped monochrome Coachella cut-offs for ladies, and relaxed ‘Perfect’ jeans, fitted Core slim-fits and the classic straight-leg Sid for gents.
There’s also a curated range of accessories and homewares including MCMC fragrances, coffee table tomes, scented candles by Le Feu De L’Eau, Sugar Paper stationery, jewellery by Mociun and Tate Harber cosmetics, as well as sweet indulgences from local bakery Little Flower Candy (try the delicious sea salt and vanilla caramels) to cure those retail-induced sugar cravings.
