Based on a traditional nobleman's house, Huang Ting succeeds in recreating a genuine ‘hutong’ feel, with the heavy studded wooden front door, aged pine flooring and carved timber screens recycled from demolition sites in Shangxi Province and Beijing, as old courtyards are replaced by modern buildings. Two Hong Kong chefs produce exceptional Cantonese dim sum and classic regional dishes such as Szechuan Chilli Prawns.
