Beijing has distinct seasons: a temperate spring, rainy summer, clear autumn and a cold, snowy winter. April, May, September and October are the best months. In autumn, the skies usually clear and air quality improves. Temperatures usually drop to -5^o C (25^o F) in January, so remember to check weather forecasts and to bring warm clothes.
